This piece works well in a stylish home with contemporary/classic furniture to complement the scene, but the colours and the quality of being slightly unnerving mean it works in any visual scenario.
Wright provides the viewer here with a kind of casual surrealism, with the very normal image of a figure holding a plate of food feeling strangely alien. This is done very effectively through composition, colour, the model's stance, and the encroaching cloud, which together do create a slight sense of unease about the scene. But despite the some foreign quality about the image, the classic furniture and fashion come with a real sense of style.
