Hong Kong Scaffolding, 40" x 53" C-Type Matt Print, edition of 25; 20" x 24" C-Type Matt Print, edition of 25.
This piece works well in an open space to contrast against the cramped subject matter full of details.
Chris Frazer Smith presents an almost otherwordly scene straight out of bladerunner, with neverending high rises, fluorescent lights, and cramped apartments, teeming with life. In this piece there is also a brilliant composition essentially made up of a tricolore of a kind of cobalt blue with industrial yellow on either side, which altogether makes for a more impactful visually intriguing image.
