San Francisco Financial District 10 by Robin Vandenabeele
These images are great for someone who appreciates urban landscapes but also sees the beauty in abstraction.
In this collection of photographs, Robin Vandenabeele uses double exposure to play with architecture, bending buildings to create geometric shapes and almost abstract images. Using this modern style it in fact utilises classical composition to great effect, creating symmetry out of urban and natural landscapes.
About the Artist:
Robin Vandenabeele started off in photography some 20 years ago whilst traveling Europe and the world as a roadie. The traveling inspired him to use photography but soon got quite hooked and began to study the history, the art and the technique of photography.
Vandenabeele enjoys both documenting and experimenting with the medium and after some time slowly started to gravitate from street photography towards more fine art oriented work. After receiving some awards and honorable mentions in the photo contest circuit he started to develop his photography futher, in turn resulting in gallery representation, book covers and being shown in boutique hotels.
The driving passion in his photography is that excitement and euphoria created by the perfect shot.
It is our sincere wish that the viewers of Robin's works get to experience these same emotions from viewing his works.
