Catalogue of Imaginary Beings, Plate 121 13” x 19” C-Type print
This piece is great for an appreciator of style and the surreal, and is best suited to a colourful room where this can either act as a centerpiece, or a nice detail, either way drawing in the viewer to look further.
In this piece, Goodman respectfully, skillfully, and stylishly transplants traditional, tribal art into a new context to bridge this ancient world of art with modern fashion to tremendous aesthetic effect. This is complemented by the black and white stern portrait, contrasting the flamboyant array of colour on display.
